Arc Solutions announces Arc Enterprise Premium Release 5.1
Research Triangle Park, NC - August 25th 2009 - Arc Solutions - the technology developer of unified communications applications for Cisco Systems - has announced the release of the latest enhanced version of its professional Arc Enterprise operator center software.
Arc Enterprise Premium continues to be developed and enhanced, with at least two major software revisions per year. Highlights from this latest release include a brand new user interface with new feature icons to ensure that Enterprise Premium continues to be the global leader in operator centers for Cisco Unified Communications. Scalable text and icons have also been included, to ensure that telephone operators can decide how they view the Arc Enterprise console and are able to work as effectively as possible. In addition, support is now included for the E.164 numbering standard, creating an even more powerful directory which can scale more easily and share data with other applications - ensuring that any Unified Communications infrastructure is underpinned with accurate contact records. Arc Click-2-Dial is also now available, enabling operators to transfer calls directly to any number that appears in any desktop application - providing integration into business applications without the need for additional, complex software.
As Cisco continues to succeed globally with its Unified Communications Manager solutions, Arc has increased language localization for the operator console to 15 languages, including Russian, Arabic and Chinese.
"Voice continues to play a vital role in an organization's Unified Communications infrastructure. In the current market, customer service is more important than ever. Therefore the answering of incoming calls in an efficient and professional way is absolutely crucial." said Richard Betts, President, Arc Solutions, Inc. "Arc continues to lead the way in operator center solutions for Cisco Unified Communications, with this latest release containing even more functionality designed to improve person to person communication within the enterprise."
